Stone Enjoy By 10.31.14

Brewer Description

You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers – especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs – we’ve taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We’ve not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you’re getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn’t randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we’ve sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Stone Enjoy By IPA has been released several times this year with different dates of enjoyment. This beer was tailored to last only about a month on the market for the best tasting experience. I imagine that it still tastes good after the date on the bottle, but it will not be as fresh.

Enjoy By 10.31.14 has been by far the freshest tasting Enjoy By release that I have come across. The other tastings were on draft and were probably past their point of freshness. This release was bottled on September 26, 2014 and you will taste how fresh it is if you can find it fast.

Stone Enjoy By double IPA pours a golden copper hue and smells of bitter citrus and fresh floral notes. The taste is an aggressively hopped explosion of citrus, pine and floral bite. The citrus notes are extreme and over the top; I loved every minute of it.

The beer comes in at 9.4% and is worth the rave that everybody has been talking about.

Enjoy!
