Brewer Description
The beginning. A classic. Our most popular beer.
Pale Ale began as a home brewer’s dream, grew into an icon, and inspired countless brewers to follow a passion of their own. Its unique piney and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops have fascinated beer drinkers for decades and made this beer a classic, yet it remains new, complex and surprising to thousands of beer drinkers every day. It is—as it always has been—all natural, bottle conditioned and refreshingly bold.
Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale is by far their most popular beer. Upon tasting this pale ale you will know why. This pale ale isn’t quite a 100% IPA taste, however is a pale ale with citrus hop taste that has the characteristics of an IPA but doesn’t take it as far. This is a pale ale that even if you aren’t an IPA fan you will enjoy it. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale doesn’t have a huge bite like IPAs instead it is slightly toned down with the hop flavor and bite. Overall, I have to say it is among the best of the best in the pale ale category.
